Finding Work Teleseminar for Non-Fiction Writers
You've got your business card and your resume in hand. You've got what you feel to be the right combination of training and experience. You're ready to take on the world as a technical writer, a corporate communicator, or a public relations specialist. You know your skills are needed, but you are not sure how to market them or yourself.
Having the writing skills without the self-marketing ability is a bit like blinking in the dark. You know what you can do, but no one else will.
"Finding Work" is a 90 minute teleseminar that will show you how to shine a light on your capabilities: by helping you develop a blueprint for that final step onto the freelance stage. Among the topics to be covered:

- How To Establish A Network From Scratch - or how to learn to love making cold calls.

I have also been teaching Professional Readiness Courses at Douglas College in New Westminster, B. C. for the past six years and Finding Work and Career Options seminars at the downtown campus of Simon Fraser University, in Vancouver, B.C.
